The Brainerd 89.9 FM translator will be going to a backup signal starting at Midnight and proceeding until 5AM. Listeners who have trouble picking up 89.9 can access our stream at kaxe.org. The broadcasts at 91.7 in Grand Rapids and 90.5 in Bemidji will both be in full operation.

The KBXE transmitter will be undergoing some routine maintenance on Tuesday morning beginning at 9:00am. This will necessitate powering off the KBXE transmitter for a period of about 20 minutes. Listeners in the KBXE area can continue to tune in to KBXE on our internet stream on our website at kaxe.org or on their mobile and smart devices. KAXE's 91.7 broadcast, the broadcast from Brainerd at 89.9, the internet stream and the broadcast cable channel should be unaffected by this maintenance.

We are planning for a scheduled maintenance that will start at 3:00pm and will affect the KBXE signal for about 10 minutes. Listeners can expect a 10 minute period of time wherein the KBXE signal could become distorted or disappear altogether. This will be momentary, and is expected to take only about 10 minutes.
